^^^^ What she said :). So far, chapter 1 has been much more straight forward. I followed your crossover with Wayward Fall over here after seeing some of the work and your character there, and I’m sure it’s intentional, but the first chapter is pretty much a, “….wut?” through the entire thing, lol. That being said, I’m really enjoying your work so far. Your lineart is fantastic, and I’m looking forward to figuring out just what’s going on with everything. Consider me a new fan.

Thanks! In theory I update once a week (Tuesdays), twice every other week (Fridays)… Getting more on the ball with that. There’s definitely gonna be an update this Tuesday.

Very good. Loving her angry face down at the bottom, and you draw hands pretty well. They’ve always been the toughest.

Ah, thank you. Of all the layouts the new one is the easiest to navigate, yes, and all the ones I make in the future will be like that, too. Had to get all the weird out of my system…XD

A side note about the Fourth Edition of Shinigami History: It was actually formerly (in its third edition) part of a series called The History and Traditions of Death Gods. When the popularity of the death-god catchall term "Shinigami" came about, the class these history books were used for had its name changed from "History of Death Gods 101" to "Shinigami History 101." It then struck the book-editing faction of the Bureau of Rings as odd that the book should have a title so different than the name of its respective course, so they changed that as well. And that, in fact, was the only change they made to create a "Fourth Edition."

“Memento mori” is a Latin phrase meaning something to the effect of “remember you are mortal”. See also here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memento_mori It doesn’t really have to do with the setting, but rather is one of this comic’s themes.

just a thought here:

the next page takes place in new zealand. i understand that the spelling there of the traditional native people is ‘maori’. is that what you meant? or is mori something different that i am not getting? just thought you should know…. :)
